Playhole.io respects intellectual property rights and will respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement consistent with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and similar global principles. If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, please send a notice as described below.
1) How to Submit a DMCA Notice
Send an email to [email protected] with subject “DMCA Notice” including all of the following (required by 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3)):
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed (or a representative list).
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to locate it (URL(s) on playhole.io, game title, screenshots if helpful).
- Your contact information (name, address, telephone, and email).
- A statement that you have a good‑faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

2) What Happens Next
Upon receiving a valid notice, we may remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material and notify the user or partner who supplied it. Where appropriate, we may terminate repeat infringers.
3) Counter‑Notification
If your content was removed under a DMCA notice and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter‑notification to [email protected] with subject “DMCA Counter‑Notice” that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material removed and where it appeared before removal (URL).
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good‑faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts for your address, and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or that person’s agent.
4) Misrepresentation Warning
Under the DMCA, anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material or activity is infringing (or was removed by mistake) may be liable for damages. Please consider fair use, licenses, and other defenses before filing.
5) Repeat Infringers
We may, in appropriate circumstances, disable or terminate users, developers, or partners who are repeat infringers.
